Randy's approach to teaching guitar is simple. He uses the student's favorite music whenever possible, tailoring lessons to fit each individual's needs. His teaching is best described by his students:

Randy has over 10 years experience in music education through private lessons and small classrooms. He earned a Bachelor of Music degree (Magna Cum Laude) from Berklee College of Music in 1995. His songwriting was recently honored with the "New Folk" award at the 34th annual Kerrville Folk Festival.

He currently performs with Brett Kinney in the acoustic guitar duo Late Bloomers. The perform regularly throughour the Northeast at venues including: the Boston Folk Festival, House of Blues, and the Prescott Park Folk Festival. Their 2 CD's have won great reviews:
